About the park
The 201 Commerce Center is a fully landscaped, master planned, office/warehouse park consisting of approximately 1.8 million square fee in 29 buildings. Spaces are divisible down to 4,800 square feet and are equipped with dock high and grade level loading providing flexibility and usable designs to accomodate showroom, office/warehouse and distribution business. What does this mean? The 201 Commerce Center will be LEED Certified by using good construction practices to build all 29 buildings. Building green can mean many things. Being LEED Certified means only one thing. In order to be certified the 201 Commerce Center uses highly efficient envelope design to ensure that minimal energy will be picked up or lost through the walls and roof. By offering reserved parking spaces to people who drive efficient vehicles and carpool. By employing the use of BioSwales which filter stormwater and recharge ground waters.
The process required to become LEED Certified is very rigorous and stringent. The US Green Building Council reviews all designs, construction materials and processes. Then aftera thorough review of points gained by employing various sustainable solutions the USGBC will grant a LEED rating from Certified to Platinum depending on points earned.
